First discovered in 1978 in a tiny area within Melville National Park, this palm is now one of the most widely planted in the world. Famous for its bushy fronds and slightly bulbous base, it lends an exotic, tropical look to landscaping. Able to survive heat, salt winds and seasonally dry conditions. Slow growing.
